Dr. Anju Duley got her PhD at Indian Institute of Technology, Kapur, investigating peptide design, synthesis and conformational analysis. At UC, Dr. Duley investigated photoproducts in the solid-state using X-ray crystallography. She is currently at ASBMB.

Dr. Chakraborty visited UC from 2017-2019 studying Corannulene. He is currently a teaching assistant at Florida International University.

Currently, Dr. Karthik is working at New Jersey Institute of Technology

Upul re-joined the group as a postdoctoral fellow in the group 2013-2015.

He is currently teaching at Eastern Kentucky University.

Kate worked with Dinindu as an upcoming sophomore at Hillsdale College as an REU student. 

Chloe worked with Fiona as an upcoming senior at Walnut Hills High School as an ACS Seed student. She is currently working on photolithography with stable aryl azides.

Uyen worked with Fiona as an upcoming senior at Walnut Hills High School and the summer after. She graduated in 2023 and is attending Ohio State University studying Chemistry and Pre-Med concentration as a Stamps scholar. She recieved 2nd best high school poster at REU 2022, best poster at ACS Indianapolis 2023 in Physical Chemistry undergraduate, and 2nd best poster for undergraduate at OoPs.

Gabrielle worked with Fiona as an upcoming senior at Walnut Hills High SchoolShe graduated in 2023 and is attending Howard University studying Chemical Engineering and playing Lacrosse. She recieved 2nd best high school poster at REU 2022 with Uyen.

Kristine worked with Brandi as rising Senior at Truman University as an REU student. 

Charley worked with Leanna and Tony Mack (BS) as an upcoming senior at Walnut Hills High School and ACS Seed student. She graduated in 2023 and is attending Ohio State University studying Chemistry.

Katrin worked with Dinindu as an upcoming senior at Walnut Hills High School. She graduated in 2023 and is attending Carnegie Mellon University studying Chemical Engineering.

Dmitrii defended his thesis in December of 2024 and previously received my B.S. in Russia at the Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology in 2018.

Raj graduated from the group in spring 2023 with his PhD. He previously received his masters at Bowling Green State Univeristy.

DeAnté received his BSc ACS certified in 2014 and PhD from the group in fall 2022. He has previously worked in industry.

Noha received her Ph.D from the group in summer 2022. She is currently working as a PostDoc at Purdue University.

William received his MSc from the group in Spring 2022 on organic azides. He is currently working in industry.

Sobiya received her PhD from UC in 2021 and is currently at Sam Houston State University.

Upasana received her PhD from UC in Anna’s group in 2021 and is currently a Postdoctoral researcher at Iowa State University.

Nayera received her PhD from UC in Anna’s group in 2021 and is currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dylan received his PhD from UC in Anna’s group in 2020 and is currently a Postdoctoral researcher in Canada.

Onyinye obtained her BSc from Louisiana State University and A&M College- Baton Rouge. She just defended her PhD thesis at the University of Cincinnati and she is looking for future employment. Please take a look at her qualifications.

Dr. DeVonna Gatlin graduated from the group in 2018 and joined Spectrum Brands as Product Development Scientist. 

During her stay at UC she demonstrated her leadership in promoting inclusion and diversity. For example, she was recognized by the Provost at UC as a part of the Exemplary Department Award in Chemistry for advancing the University inclusion goals. Below are links to her many recognition at UC.

Anushree obtained her PhD from UC 2017 and is currently working at SRI International in California

Kosala just earned his PhD from UC and he is currently looking for opportunties in New Jersey

Dushanee obtained her PhD in 2017 at UC. She was a research associate at Rice University and currently she is employed at Firmenich 

Sujan obtained his PhD in 2015 and joined Professors Wolfram Sanders group in Ruhr-Universität Bochum as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently, he is a JSPS fellow with Professor Manabu Abe at Hiroshima University Japan. 

Upul obtained his BSc at the University of Peradeniya in 2006 and his PhD at UC in 2012. Upon graduation he did postdoctoral fellowships at Missouri University of Science & Technology and UC. Currently, he is teaching at Estern Illinois University.

​Geethika obtained her BSc from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2008. She completed her PhD at UC in 2015. Currently she is a research associate at CSIRO and the Univeristy of Melbourne Australia.

Kelley earned his PhD in 2015 and is currently employed at SC Johnson

Tianeka obtained her BSc from Central State Univeristy and her MSc from UC in 2013. She is gainfully employed with Solvay Chemicals in Cincinnati.

Xiaoming earned his BSc in Sichuan University, China and he defended his doctoral dissertation at UC in 2012

Qian earned his BSc in Wuhan Univeristy, China and he defended his doctoral thesis at UC in 2012. His first employment was with 4iNNO, Cincinnati OH. Currently, he is a growth entrepreneur in Montvale, New Jersey.

Disnani obtained her B.Sc. at the Univeristy of Peradeniya, Perdeniya, Sri Lanka in 2003. She finished her Master at UC in 2012. Currently, she teaches at Good shepherd Convent, High School in Kandyat in Sri Lanka

Jagadis obtained his PhD 2010 and did postdoctoral research at the University of California San Diego before accepting a position with Saint Gobain India

Sridhar graduate with his PhD in 2010, and was postdoctoral fellow at the Univeristy of Florida, Gainsville in Florida, before accepting a position with CavinKare Research and & Development in India.

Abhijit obtained his PhD in 2007 and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Coating and Polymeric Materials North Dakota State Univeristy. He then joined BASF in India, and is currently working for BASF in Detroit.

Siva obtained his PhD in 2007 and was a postdoctral fellow at the Ohio State Univeristy with Professor Chris Hadad, before joining P&G.

After obtaining his PhD in 2007, Raj was a Postdoctoral Fellow at South Dokata State University. There are more details in his linkedin profile

Jeffery defended his doctoral thesis in 2006 and is currently in member of the USAF

Minxing obtained his MSc degree in 2006 and a PhD from Rutgers University, NJ.

After defending his dissertation in 2005, Armands took up a job at Syntagon Baltic, Latvia

Chris obtained his MSc degree in 2005 and took up a position at Givaudan, Cincinnati.

Rod obtained his PhD in 2004 and was a postdoctoral fellow with Professor Jack Saltiel at the Florida State University, Tallhassee, Florida

Sarah defended her PhD in 2003 and was a postdoctoral fellow with Professor Matt Platz at OSU. She taught at Gonzaga Univeristy at Spokane
